Would you exchange some of your rights for more safety?
I sure would. At least I have the balls to not hide under Anonymous!

No. Even the concept is a false premise tho. One cannot give up inalienable rights, they can only be taken away (enslavement) by others.
That said - No, I would never choose to have my rights compromised because that means some government entiy is trying to, or is taking them away. Such efforts, to be free, must be resisted by any means.

So whilst your freedoms are slowly being eroded, instead of defending them, you'll just roll over like a little b*tch and surrender them?

Being safe IS a right, protected under law. Which rights are you willing to trade? Free speach? Freedom of religious expression?
D'oh, I'm slow, sorry, I'm not in the US,this is about guns, isn't it.
I DON'T have the right to carry a firearm and that makes me feel ever so much safer.
"You can't shoot me, I'm not in your country"
Although we are experiencing a worrying rise in knife crime. Sad face.

How would giving up any of my rights make you any safer?
- colemanLv 61 month ago
that safety is only temporary our rights to defend are permanent, when we have a permanent way of defense we are safer than we are without these rights.
- MogLv 71 month ago
Depends which rights and what kind of safety.
