Can you work at a day labor place while recieving ssi if i dont cross 25hrs/wk?

It'll provide more money and taxes get taken out so its legal... I like the thought of dirty boots, jeans, trucks and working as much as i can... So any help would be appreciated thk u

    It will be interesting when they come and ask you how you claim to be disabled and can't work and yet like to do manual labor.

      Im allowed to make $400 almost $500 before any deductions to the ssi is made... I was asking about day labor because of the work schedule being not certain

    SSI is typically for people who CAN NOT work.

    It is also based on household income and household need.

    So - it is NOT about how many hours you work.  It is about how much additional money you would make.

    Talk to someone at the social security office.  BE CAREFUL - if you are able to work - then you DO NOT qualify for SSI.
