Can Senate Republicans subpoena Eric Ciaramella and have him under oath answer if he's the whistleblower?
The whistleblower MUST be known to prove there is a whistleblower. One way or another his identity if he exists will be made known so we can evaluate him to see if he has a bias, etc.

Haven't you heard? By edict of Trump, subpoenas don't matter any more and no one has to pay any attention to them.
Besides, the whistleblower doesn't matter anymore. A guy called 911 to report a fire. The firemen arrived, put out the fire, interviewed the eyewitnesses and arrested the arsonist. We don't need to know who called 911.
