Are schools in Alberta harder to achieve high grades?

Students in Alberta have to take a final exam at the end of each subject worth 35% of our final grade. Evidently, this corrects inflation due to teachers marking too easily. However, other provinces either don’t have final exams in all major core subjects (any science, social, math, English). With this said, is it harder to achieve a 90 in Alberta then Ontario?

No, there is no evidence that increased difficulty increases the amount of high grades
