Do you lose muscle mass if you are on a caloric deficit, even if you lift weights?

    That depend son ho much of a deficit and what your diet specifically consists of. If you get enough protein and the deficit is very minor, you should retain most muscle mass.

    It would depend upon what you're eating. Most people on a calorie deficit aren't eating whole healthy foods and natural foods. So i guess my answer is YES

    You lose muscle mass if you don't consume enough protein to maintain your muscle mass.  Resistance training (weights) can build muscle but only if consume enough protein.
