Stocks Word Problem?

Lucy has a total of 11,572 invested in stock A and stock B. Suppose stock A is currently worth 36 per share and stock B is currently worth 80 per share. If stock A increases by 10 and stock B increases by 16 her total investment will be worth 14,102. How many shares of each of the stocks does she Own?

    36A + 80B= 11,572 and 46A + 96B= 14,102

    Multiply the first equation by -96/80 and add it to the second equation.

    2.8A= 215.6; A= 77 shares, B= 110 shares
