On probation period?

Employer can terminate immediately if an employee did something wrong during probation period?

    Yes, depending on how bad the some thing wrong was. You can get fired for any reason during a probationary period. So try not to make a lot of mistakes.

    Employer can terminate immediately if an employee did something wrong at any time. Employees are scrutinized more on probation.

    Correct. 

    Probation period really makes no difference.   If the employee screws up they can be fired whether they've worked there for two weeks or two years.

    Yes, they can.  

    In most situations they can do that after your probationary period too.

    Yes. In fact even once you are off probation they can still do that if you don't have a union or contract. Which most in the U.S. don't.
