I'm Autistic, but I sometimes forget I am, does this happen to other People with Autism?

I'm not looking for sympathy or special treatment, I'm just asking if this happens to others with Autism or other conditions.

Of course it does. Autism isn't one disorder, it's a whole range of disorders. Some are mild and produce few if any symptoms, while others are severe. People who are mildly afflicted may not even know they HAVE Autism. I didn't until recently. Mine is very mild, and I don't have an intellectual disability. I lead a normal life by most standards- I drive my own car, I work full time, I have a college degree, and I live independently. But the Autism is there, and it impacts how I respond to people and situations.
