In the USA, you have to be 18 or older to get a piercing without parental consent. You'll need to bring a government-issued ID with you (state ID card or driver's license). You can get piercings if you are under 18, but you'll have to have your parent(s) or legal guardian with you. They will have to give their consent and sign forms. For "adult" piercings (such as genitals or nipples), you absolutely HAVE to wait until you are 18, no questions.

Old enough not to care that people walking towards you are thinking, "Oh God, doesn't she know she's got a massive pimple/booger RIGHT THERE? Gross!!!"

You have to be a legal adult, or 18 years old, to get it done in the US.

This is an international site, if you don't live in the US call your local piercing studio and ask.

If you live in the US and are under 18 you will need parental consent.  If you are able to get pierced depends on the discretion of the piercer.

18 to have it done legally. 21 to wonder why you're not getting the jobs you apply for. 26 to notice your friends making fun of you. 29 to come to the realization that self mutilation might not have been a good idea. 30 to have it removed and the scar tissue repaired by a plastic surgeon.

That depends on the job itself. Body modifications are NOT forms of "self-harm" or "mutilation". Only an uneducated FOOL believes such nonsense.

Depends on state law and the shop's policies.  Even if your state doesn't have a specific minimum age, a shop may decline to do it if you are under their own internal age limit.
