Yes, jelly is made of the protein collagen, which is abundant in the skin of animals. Gelatin is usually sold with sugar added, but unsweetened gelatin is also readily available. I read a book long ago about keeping turtles, and the author gave his turtles calcium that is encased inside gelatin. If your lizard will eat the gelatin, then it is one way to give it calcium supplements. Since it is protein, the lizard's taste buds may think it is meat.
