Is it true that ferret kills a hamster?

Is it true that ferret kill hamster? I thought the two animals would get along well together because they are both small and cute.

    Put together, yes, ferrets prey on rodents in the wild.

    Ferrets are carnivores that eat small animals so yeah. They would kill a hamster and eat it.

    Yes it is true........ their natural instinct to hunt and a hamster would be killed in seconds

    Yes, it certainly would. They kill rabbits, hamsters would be a piece of cake.

    A ferret is a hunter, a hamster would be prey to a ferret.

    Ferrets were originally bred from polecats and were used for hunting rabbits and killing rats and mice. They make good pets, but they kill other rodents including hamsters.
