The Earth is a Globe which we describe as having a north  and south hemispheres that is associated to the north and south poles. The Australian were labeled as antipodes ,hence upside down people. However the Australians look at the north people as the upside down people.Who is right is a matter to be settled in the international Court..

Why people stick to the Earth was solved by Einstein general Relativity Theory that indicated the reason we stick to the Earth is Gravity. This was a revolutionary theory that  described in reality what the Gravitational process is all about.

Its vely vely simple to understand

Your flat earth might have a bottom so the giant turtle or whatever it is can support it, but our round earth has no top or bottom. Sure, earth is usually depicted with its north pole at the top of a diagram, but that is just convention.

In Australia, we live exactly as you or anybody else lives, with our body mass centred on the radial that runs through us and the centre of mass of the earth.

Exactly why flat-earthers are stupid. They don't have an explanation for many things. The answer to this question is something they don't believe in... gravity.

Gravity holds everything onto the Earth. Gravity pulls everything toward the center of the Earth.

There is no bottom... everyone on Earth is attracted to the center of Earth's gravity - so "down" is toward the center of the Earth, no matter where on Earth you are.

Why do you even presume Australia is at the 'bottom'. There is no up and down in the universe. It's just a matter of perspective and how often you have seen a map of the world or a picture of the Earth, but you can approach the planet also completely from 'south' of the orbital plain that Earth makes around the sun. Anyway, it does not really matter. Gravity holds everything to the planet and we humans are so small in relation to the planet that we neither feel it's rotation, nor it's revolving around the sun. We only feel it's gravity.
