Because natural selection favors darker coloration in tropical areas, like Central Africa, where the first humans lived. Lighter-skinned versions of the human species gradually evolved as people emigrated to cooler parts of the planet.

Only someone that is prejudiced, dislike for a person or group because of race would object.

Today, people show pride in many harmful ways. Pride is sometimes related to racism. According to one dictionary, racism is prejudice against people who belong to other races. It is also “the belief that people of different races have different qualities and abilities, and that some races are inherently superior or inferior.” Racism has resulted in fights, wars, and even mass murder.Source(s): You Can Fight Satan—And Win! https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/402015363?q=di...
