Car radio isn’t working properly?

After the cold weather recently the battery in my car was drained. So we jumped it, as usual. Now when I turned on the car everything was working normal, except one button on the radio. It’s the Media button that switches the radio to Aux. it worked before, now it doesn’t. Could something have shorted out and messed it up?

It simply failed or got fried.  You can try a hard reset (disconnecting the battery again).  See a car audio shop if this does not fix it.  You might need a new radio.

Try taking the battery cables off the battery and touch them together for a minute to drain any electrical feedback that may be in the radio.
