Would duct taping myself to the seat of a car be more safe than wearing a seat belt?

No! Part of the reason why seat belts are used is the need to egress the vehicle. Duct tape would prevent an easy exit from a crash or to get out to pee.

Not unless it was fresh, 3 M  brand, and you went Around the seat and yourself   a  few times.

Even then, unsafe if you need to get out Quick, like, a fire. Carry a switchblade on a string just in case..

I dunno, try it. In no way would that be as safe. The seat belt is designed to keep you in the seat. You wouldn't be able to get the tape tight enough.

No. It would not. It would be less safe, and probably illegal.

    • Not illegal  If belts used, Also.Or. old car .No belts.

No, it would make you to ridged and something would break. You could try it then tell us later what part of you gets broken WV.

Maybe if you cocooned yourself to the seat in duct tape. Would need to cut you out though.
