Orlando, FL?

So...besides Universal & Disney, what are some recommendations of things to do on a family vacay?  We have never been to Orlando, but going early next year.

If you are going specifically to Orlando, then there really isn't much else except the theme parks (Sea World is there too).  There are certainly other things in FL, and some aren't too far away from the Orlando area.  The Kennedy Space Center is neat to visit.  On the other side is the Tampa/Clearwater area, where you can visit a great zoo, Busch Gardens (another theme park), and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium (where you can see Winter the dolphin, from Dolphin Tale).

LOL - most people go to Orlando to enjoy the amusement parks.  You can spend a couple of weeks @ Disneyworld alone.  And then another week @ Universal Studios.  I'm sure there's other things to do.  But most go for the parks.

Well, Disney's four parks, Universal's two and all the water parks, that's usually enough to keep anyone occupied!  But Sea World is good too.  There's also Gatorland, a few other theme parks, many interesting things on I-Drive, like Ripley's, The Titanic Experience, the Orlando Eye, stuff like that.

And beaches aren't far away either.
