Is Lavazza the best brand of packeted espresso in a supermarket to buy?

It's less about the brand (Lavazza and SegaFredo are OK) and more about the composition and the roast (for example: 70% Arabica+30% Robusta, dark roast will be much harsher than 100% Arabica, medium roast). Try to find Organic / Biologico coffee for a cleaner taste, without residual agricultural chemicals.

mehhhhhh, it's merely just ONE of the many average brands here.
It's all a matter of personal test which one is "best".

Lavazza Super Crema is in the top 3 if it isn't the best.

If you prefer the taste of it, sure. Coffee is a largely subjective thing.
That said, most people who are serious about coffee are usually going to go for whole bean variety and grind it at home for the best taste.
