More math help..?

So we have this equation: ((4√3)+(√5)) x ((√3)-6√5)) Sorry if thats written in a confusing manner.

And my professor writes "Assume that no radicands were formed by raising negative quantities to even powers."

I'm not sure what this means?

    ((4√3) + (√5)) x ((√3) - 6√5))

    = -107.078617

    First, lose the unnecessary parens

    (4√3 + √5) x (√3 - 6√5)

    Now use FOIL to distribute

    4√3√3 - 24√3√5 + √3√5 - 6√5√5

    4*3 - 24√3√5 + √3√5 - 6*5

    combine like items

    12 -23√3√5 -30

    -18 -23√3√5

    or

    -(18 +23√15)

BTW I have no clue what the teacher was saying...
