i have an asrock a320m-dgs can i put on a ryzen 5 2600 or even an ryzen 5 3600?

    I know you don't know this but it's a rule of thumb to update the BIOS before installing a new CPU. Now you know.

    No worries otherwise because these a320 motherboards and the cheaper b350/b450 motherboards run the 65w TDP processors just fine.

    Regarding the notes ASRock BIOS version webpage, please read the notes carefully. Depending on which BIOS version you have, you might need to plash the BIOS 2 or 3 different times. 

    If your current BIOS version is older than 3.40, then you should flash in this order:

    3.40 > 5.50 > 6.00

    Yes, but it needs to be running BIOS P4.70 (or newer) for the 2600 or P5.90 (or newer) for the 3600.
