A relative passed about half a decade ago, and left over 300 unwanted compact discs, what should be done with them?

    Wrap them in a amazon box and have someone steal it off your porch ...

    Why don't you just say about five years ago ?  Half a decade sounds weird.

    You can try selling them online if you don't like listening to the music or you can donate them to the Salvation Army or other charities.

    Garage sale, thrift store donation, library donation...

    Try to sell them yourself on Amazon or Ebay. If that's too much work, a local record shop may buy all or some of them. Donating them to a charity shop is another option.
