Isn't it sad Sigmund Freud didn't live to see the collapse of the Nazis?
He escaped from them in 1939 and even witnessed the outbreak of WWII only to die weeks later. He must have died sad.

I believe that Freud was a realists , I do not believe he felt much sadness for humanity because based on his theories humans did exactly what he expected.
