where do i find the username password?

I used my username password when i log off and it does not work.

where do i find this?

You're asking a very vague question. What are you trying to log on to?

  well i am connected to a network and trying to access another pc, but there is a popup stating that i need to input username and password

That is a question for your network administrator. There is no textbook manner of logging on/off.
