I have been using this iPhone for 5 months and it just started saying it has no sim. What do I do? It is on version.?

Try turning phone off then by using a paperclip eject the sim card tray n remove sim card then put back in and then power on phone. If still says no sim then reset network settings. One these should help and if not may have to call your service provider
