Since my parents enable an alcoholic in the family are they as guilty as the alcoholic, even more since the alcoholic is ill, they are not?

If their intention is to make the alcoholic feel worse, they are very bad. But, if their intention is to help the alcoholic feel better, they are making a bad choice in the opinion of most experts, but they are not guilty of anything.

alcoholism is hard to stop because it gives them an escape itis as necessaruy to them as sleep is to us. unless they become abusive let em be
