A question about mental defect and jury selection?

I was called for possible jury duty about three years ago. I reported to the judicial building, and when they began screening the potential jury pool, and they asked if anyone had any physical or mental defect that might keep them from being able to perform their duty without hinderance, I raised my hand and told them about my inability to accurately judge distance. I was excused from that pool. Was my name taken out of contention for jury duty from now on?

No. It just means you were not selected for that particular jury, but you'll be called up again.

No. Potential jurors are contacted at random.
