Without a Mongol Conquest, you wouldn't have any homework to do, young lady. Or at the very least, your assignment would be centered on another period of history.

    Religious tolerance

    Encouraged and improved literacy

The introduction of a writing system

The "Pax Mongolica," which led to the reopening of the Silk Road

The introduction of a postal system

I’ve heard that Mongol invasion of Europe led to the discovery of guns. The Europeans took some of the gunpowder left by the mongols and experimented with it until they found a way to use it as component for their guns.

Well, hadn’t they invaded Europe, it probably couldn’t have happened. So it actually still does have some correlation with the question.
