What Caterpillar is this?

We found it in our fridge amongst the vegetables, we think it may have been in the lettuce (so it could be from Spain, or otherwise from here the UK), or on the broccoli so it could be a broccoli worm.

Anyone able to identify it?

It's a cabbage moth caterpillar. They feed mainly on brassicas (so would have come in on your broccoli), and a pretty common, if not quite as common as the cabbage butterfly caterpillars.

That looks like an inch worm, which is actually a moth larva.

It's a standard green broccoli or tomato worm. They eat anything green pick it out of your food and throw it away they're not dirty they don't carry disease.
