will gm 454 engine parts enerchange with chevy 350 engine parts?

i have 1986 454 out of motorhome and want to take hei distributor out and put in my 350 engine in my 1971 chevy motorhome

    Yes, The distributor will interchange.

    You can verify by laying them side by side, also count the teeth on the drive gear.

    You might find the advance is controlled by the ECM on the 86 model and it would be better to find a 75 thru 79 distributor at a wrecking yard.

    You will need the higher voltage wires, and the spark plugs from the newer car,  gap them to the later cars spec.

    I used a 79 small block dist. In a 73 big block Olds Toronado and picked up about 4 MPG.
