Is it okay to use a made up song with made up lyrics in a Fan Fiction story?
It is okay to use a made up song with lyrics when it comes to Fan Fiction? I mean the author would not be using a real song that exists, leading to copyright infringement.

Of course! That made-up song would be entirely in the author's intellectual property.
(Also, on AO3 it's okay to use real song lyrics, but not on fanfiction.net)

If you make up your own song, it's your song. No one else owns it.
Go for it.
If you wrote "Laura and Sam sang [popular singer's popular song]. Jane cried when she heard the line [quote line]", (You'd write it better than I did.) you would be fine too.

It is of course okay to use a made up song.
Fan fiction, however, is copyright infringement. Many authors/creators don't mind, but my suggestion is to make sure that the fan fiction you're writing is from one of these authors, or you could get in trouble.

Yes. Everything is okay to do in fan fiction... except tentacle porn featuring eggs... just don't go there. Forbidden. Bad.
If you make up the lyrics the song belongs to you.

In case you don't know it, fiction is made up material. All songs are made up. What do you mean by "real song"?

No, it is absolutely against the law to make up anything in a work of fiction. You could be sent to the electric chair.
