Since Joe Biden is unemployed, and losing for his own party's nomination why do (only) democrats call him President Trump's political rival?
I think a focus group tells them to say that like they told them so start saying "bribery".

Biden's numbers are soaring since Fat Donnie's smear campaign has backfired.

Although Biden is polling the strongest in Dem vs. Trump polls, his chance of getting the party's nomination in recent months has been uncertain, mainly because of competition from Warren. However, his chance of that got much better as soon as Warren released the details of her healthcare plan. She's dropped out of first place in Iowa. At this time, Biden looks like the nominee, but that could change. We don't know if Bloomberg will be a success. Buttigreig seemly unlikely, but stranger things have happened .

That is an excellent point. The original crime for impeachment was using a foreign country to dig dirt on a political rival. (Forget about Hillary and the Russian dossier). If that is the correct crime, it has 2 holes in it. One is that Joe is corrupt and two, Joe is not a political rival. This has never registered with the radical liberals, and Schiff blocked this information from being in the hearing. You might wonder if Joe did enter the race to protect himself from retaliation after Mueller failed.
