A question about English grammar?

I'm studying English.

I have a question about English.

Which of the following sentences is natural?

1. This wine is made from red grapes.

2. This wine was made from red grapes.

Thanks in advance.

Unless the winemaker has gone out of business, "this wine" is still being made. So use the present tense.

    1. This wine is made from red grapes.

unless you are referring to a specific bottle and not the brand in general.  Then past tense is correct, since that bottle of wine cannot be made again.

    Either is fine.

Both are natural and can be used in various contexts. Consider the following:

Red wine is made from red grapes. The skins of the grapes are left in contact with the juice to add colour and flavour. White wine is made from white grapes but some white wines and sparkling wines are made from red grapes but the skins are removed from the juice immediately after crushing. This white wine was made from red grapes, that was made from white grapes but this red wine is always made from red grapes.
