Is killing a spider a caring act?

Is killing a spider indoors a sign that you don't care about it, and never want to see it again?

I mostly don’t kill spiders inside they kill other bugs.

    But when I do I don’t give it a 2nd thought.  It’s just a spider

Pretty much.  I respect all lifeforms.  But there are some people that I don’t respect at all.

What I meant was, why would killing anything be a caring act?

Pretty much. You don't want them to live,

To some perhaps. but why kill an innocent life that only wants to survive.

Yea, I care a deal about spiders, certainly more friend than enemy.

Welcome in my place any time. Surprisingly polite guests, quiet, have no intention of bother. Worst is a messy web in the open or falling from the overhead light like my little buddy here, he went onto the wall out of harms way:

Killing a spider anywhere is both foolish and cruel unless it's a venomous spider that is about to harm you.

Given the chance, the spider would certainly kill you and allow  you to suffer an agonizingly slow painful death.

Given the chance, the spider would most definitely prefer to avoid you altogether.
