Can online transactions be traced without an address?

If you were to make a purchase online, using a card and it were just a purchase for like a currency on the website so there's no address, name, or email needed. Can it be traced?

if you buy currency you would be required to provide personal details like name and address to prevent money laundering

Secondly, if a bank card was used, then the transaction could be traced anyway

All online orders require an address for security reasons. The charge would be declined without one.

Yes thru the IP address but that is complicated so would not be done for a retail transaction
