UK tv is full of travel style documentaries, about food, like rick stein's secret france, or travel like michael portillo's great australian railway journey. 

do other countries make documentaries specifically about UK ?

It has been done on occasions. I have seen on German satellite channels, programmes about the Royal Family, and tourism type  programmes.
