When Christians become atheists, do they need to stop being friends with their former social group and make new social contacts?

No, it's Christians who drop friends who don't fit with their religion.

They actually don't for the beliefs of others is not a threat to most Atheists. Theists how ever seem to feel threatened by one who has not chosen 'their' version of a god and even more by those who chose no god at all.

  • I didn't drop any friends and I made new social contacts. I also didn't tell most of them, but we didn't even talk about God or religion anyway. Obviously don't put up with any harassments/abuse
