About COPPA/YouTube. Will the FTC fine me for marking a video as "meant for kids" if it isnt meant for kids? ?

I've heard that you can get fined if you mark your video as "not for kids" and they decide it is for kids, but does it work the other way around? I don't make money off of YouTube anyways so I'm not concerned about the 90% revenue decrease. I just don't think kids should watch my content.

      If you mark a video as not for kids and then the FTC decides it is for kids, they will fine. As for what the poster is asking, not sure.
