    No it's a private policy you pay for to help pay for what Medicare doesn't cover

    No. Medicaid is a government-funded insurance plan for people below a certain income level. Medicare is a government funded insurance plan for people over age 65 plus some younger disabled people. Medicare supplement plans are additional plans which medicare-eligible people can use to fill in the gaps in the basic medicare coverage.

    No. It is supplemental insurance which pick up part or all of the costs that medicaid does not cover. It is a separate policy which is in addition to medicaid
