Should I drain and rinse canned beans before serving them?
If I do will it affect the flavor of the beans?

Baked beans no, this will spoil them. Other kinds, for instance, canned blackeye, borroti, broad, butter, French, green, kidney, and mixed beans, probably yes.

The liquid in the can is usually brine / salted water, so, drain off if you dont want the salt element.

Yes, rinse and drain canned beans to get rid of excess salt

If you don't want the color and flavor to be added to the dish, then yes.
FYI if you do, you are washing away some of the soluble fibers, making the beans almost exclusively insoluble fiber, which coupled with dehydration results in hard stool/constipation.
For those of us with healthy guts, insoluble fiber spells well-formed and wipeless poos.

There's no real cause to rinse them, as food from cans is in a pre-cooked, ready to eat state.

Unlikely to affect the flavor. Go ahead and rinse if you want. I just eat straight out of the can. It is up to you

Plain beans are pretty boring anyway so best to serve those mixed with other things. If using charro beans or barracho do not rinse the sauce is all the flavor.

It really depends on how you will serve the beans.
