Your Yahoo inbox has an almost unlimited storage capacity for messages, so it's easy for hundreds or even thousands of emails to pile up. When this happens, it makes cleaning out your inbox feel like an overwhelming chore. If you're faced with an avalanche of emails, you don't need to delete them one by one. Instead, you can select a group of messages and erase them in bulk.

    Step 1

Go to the Yahoo Mail sign-in page and sign in to your email account.

    Step 2

Click "Folders" and select the folder you want to manage, if applicable.

    Step 3

Click the check box next to a message to select it.

    Step 4

Hold down the "Shift" key, and then select the last message in the list that you want to delete. This selects all emails between the first and the last one you selected.

    Step 5

Deselect any messages that you don't want to delete.

    Step 6

Click "Delete" to erase all selected messages.

You can delete up to 100 emails at a time in Full-featured Mail or 1 page at a time in Basic Mail. Put a check in the box at the top left of the message list to select all and then hit Delete: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/sln28054.html
