Cost of current healthcare system = $49T over 10 years. Cost of Medicare-For-All = $32T over 10 years. What could America do with extra $17T?

Give it to the rich obviously.

Help pay the funeral expenses of all those who'd die under such a plan because the US doesn't have the medical infrastructure to provide every man, woman and child with reasonable care. But if we started building hospitals and clinics now and making it easier to go to medical school we probably could aspire to such a thing for future generations.

Well...that would mean that 17 trillion less in what they can do for you.

Hospitals are already shutting down and there's a doctor shortage. I'm not sure you get the market if you think taking money out will help.

PS: Right now we are spending about 3.5 trillion a year on it. Ten years doesn't come to 49 trillion.

Elizabeth Warren's "Medicare for all" is $52 Trillion. Where did you get the lower figure?
