I have a 4 month old kitten when I got her she slept most of the night but tonight she's only slept for about 5 hours from midnight to 4am? ?


Is this normal for a kitten 

Update 2:

I meant to put till nearly five am I was tired when I wrote it

    Yes its normal.  Kittens "catnap" a lot more then adults but for a shorter period of time.

    Cats are nocturnal. They are active at night naturally. During the day they take lots of cat naps.

    Yep- just like having a baby. They sleep all the time at first, and then they keep you up all night for a while. Not much you can do about it.

    How do you sleep 5 hours from midnight to 4 am. There’s only 4 hours between midnight and 4 am. 

    Cats sleep whenever they want.
