UK: Do people still drive on motorways between midnight (12am) and 7am?

I mean do people still drive on motorways overnight?

    No they come out at 1 minute after midnight and roll them up , give them a clean and put them back just before 7.

    What a weird question! Of course we can drive on motorways, and indeed all other roads, at any time of day or night, unless of course there are roadworks or similar which cause temporary closures.

    Yes. Among other traffic, there are a number of overnight coach routes running between various towns and cities, such as London - Glasgow, London - Plymouth, Bristol - Edinburgh, etc.

    Yes. Motorways are open 24/7 and while quieter at night, people still drive on them.

    Of course they do, people drive on all sorts of roads during those hours, they don't close the motorway at night.

    Yes. There is always traffic on motorways.

    yes of course- people work varies shift hours as well as general traveling

    think of Lorry & delivery drivers- they work all hours- as do medical & fire
