Can human toenails hurt dogs if they eat them ?

    No.. Its extra protein.

    Nails are made from a protein called keratin.   Its the same thing that hooves are made from.   Farm dogs will often take hoof clippings to chew on when cows/horses/etc get their hooves trimmed.

    Yes, they're not healthy to eat. That's might affect their digestive track.
