You'd put mistake-laden L.Z.II ahead of the Rolling Stones "Let It Bleed"?  VERY weird.

I just cannot leave Abbey Road and Tommy out of my Top three.  1969 saw a LOT of great music, and Honorable Mention goes to Neil Young and Crazy Horse (Everybody Knows this is Nowhere), King Crimson (In the Court of the Crimson King) and Led Zeppelin's second, but Yes' debut album is my #3.  In spite of its rawness in places, some great songs and a tempting sign of what was to come in the future.

    In no particular order:

    Cream - Goodbye

    Pink Floyd - Ummagumma

    Free - Free

And a single worth a mention: Steppenwolf - Born To Be Wild.
