What does it mean if I get a text for an interview rather than a call?

Update:

The manager didn’t send it through though companies number it was a different number

    It could mean either of two things

    1) The company wants to save money, and SMS is cheaper than a call, or

    2) you now have your interview time in writing

    Doesn't mean anything other than possibly it was quicker for them to handle the matter this way.

    It means that the person arranging the interviews is saving time by sending candidates "spam" instead of making individual phone calls. I suggest you respond via text.
