Is the elected President permitted to interfere in foreign policy or is that the job of civil servants ?

Why ask foreign policy questions in Presidential debates if it is none of the President’s business?

    The President and his appointees in the State Department are supposed to be on the same page.

    It is a different set of rules for a mulatto President. Such a President can send cash by the pallet load to foreign dictators in the dead of night, with no impeachment afterwards.

    It would be nice to actually have a foreign policy. Trump has none, other than suck up to dictators.

    Is the elected president allowed to use the power and influence of his office to coerce foreign governments to publicly announce they are beginning criminal investigation of his political enemies?
