Questions...  Ok...  Liquid helium cooled to not only a superfluid state, but also a Bose Einstein Condensate used to condense laser pulses?

Think about it, light traveling through superfluid helium slows down to like...  30 mph or so.  I forgot the exact figure but it's stupid slow.  Now excite that helium and the condensed pulse returns to it's normal speed.  Problem is wavefront propagation of the excitation...  Solved by the Bose Einstein Condensate state!  Any nerds in here?
