Why are civil forfeiture laws allowed?

I think it's stupid that the police can steal your money legally just if they suspect you committed a crime.

You do have some rights concerning this.

    1. Article 17 from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

    2. The 5th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

    3.  Supreme Court case 17-1091 Timbs v. Indiana

Cops can make many mistakes, you are only allowed one.

You have to hope to never mess with a cop.

The scariest thing is a police state and martial law.

You have no rights and cops will act like Gestapo to anyone. They dont even go after criminals anymore be cause they are not allowed to harass the bad guys.

Cops should be allowed to harass people who are a bother to society.

The bigger the government, the bigger the injustices society will face.
