We'd need to know if he is in an open marriage. Or if the wife maybe is in a coma and has given blessings to him.

Other than that he is failing his marriage promise. Better to divorce then move on. Hanging on to women while moving to the next is a sign of insecurity. My father did that. He can't be alone.  He's the big man and insecure.
