Why Won’t my Nintendo Switch connect to my WiFi when it’s connected to my Vizio Smart TV?

It works anywhere else in the house but once it’s connected to my smart tv it can’t connect to the WiFi.

location makes a big difference. if it's too low, the antenna won't see the wifi.

also, if your tv uses wifi, it may be intercepting the signal, or interfering.

try placing the Switch higher up, see if you get a signal.

also, most wifi has a range of 30-50 feet. if it is also having to go through walls, furniture, appliances and electronics, you aren't going to get a signal on the opposite end of the house. again, higher is better.

    Move it a few inches,

or maybe a foot or two, and see what happens.

Probably just the spot where it’s in being specifically weak.
